The country will use green, intelligent, and aging-friendly as the "emphasis points" to improve the quality of supply, innovate consumption scenarios, and promote the recovery and upgrading of household consumption.

Sheng Qiuping, vice minister of the Ministry of Commerce of China, said in a speech: in combination with the renovation of old residential areas in cities and towns, support residents to extract housing provident funds for the renovation of self-occupied houses such as installing elevators, and expand the scope of support to themselves and their parents; Renovation, support the establishment of special areas for the elderly in home furnishing stores and e-commerce platforms, support the installation of video care systems for elderly families, and configure health monitoring equipment; combined with the construction of convenient living circles, support maintenance points closely related to household consumption, recycling points for renewable resources, etc. to enter the community , Encourage the community to set up old house decoration model rooms and temporary storage places for home appliances and furniture.

The state will support enterprises to speed up the research and development of smart home products, carry out reverse customization of home products, promote the interconnection of smart home devices, support the renovation of homes suitable for aging, support the decoration and partial renovation of old houses, and strive to improve the quality and level of supply. The country will also accelerate the development of green and low-carbon cycles, expand the sales of green household products, and open up the entire chain of sales of new household products, recycling of second-hand products, and recycling of waste products.

Efforts will be made to build a "big home furnishing" ecological system. Several measures adhere to the system concept, covering multiple fields such as home appliances, furniture, home textiles, and home decoration. Strengthen the coordination of the industrial chain and supply chain, and provide consumers with one-stop, full-scenario home solutions.
